I've been using the Checkout 51 application on my cell phone for several months now. As of writing this post, I've earned a total of $7.01. The reason for the small amount is because of either forgetting about having the application and checking to see what offers they have or there's just not any offers that we purchase. There are two good things about this app, 1) after you earn $20 you can request for a check and 2) you don't have to have a smart phone to earn money through Checkout 51.

Last week, I was able to redeem two offers through
Checkout 51. I did one offer through my phone and the second offer through the website. The offers are the same on the phone and the website so if you don't have a smart phone, you won't miss out on any offers. Here's the step-by-step on how to redeem offers both ways.
These were the offers at the time of redeeming. Offers change every Thursday morning. Click on the Upload Receipt at the bottom.
These are the instructions on how to take a picture of your receipt.
You are going to take a picture of your receipt with your cell phone's camera.
Once you're receipt is uploaded, it will take you to the current offers. You'll want to select all the offers that were purchased on this receipt. This one, I purchased a jar of Prego sauce. Once you're done selecting the offers that you purchased, hit submit.
You'll receive this message. You have not earned it yet. You're receipt has to be looked over to verify that you really purchased those items. I think it was less than 24 hours that I received an e-mail verification that I earned the $0.25.
Like with a smart phone, you'll be taking a picture of your receipt. So you will need a digital camera and know how to upload pictures from it. With that being said, you'll want to go to
www.checkout51.com and log into your account.
Just like on the phone, you'll want to click on the Upload Receipt.

This is the picture that I took with my digital camera and what I uploaded to the website.
They do have some instructions on how to upload your receipt if you need help. You'll want to click on the Choose Image File and look for the picture that you took with your camera.
Your picture will show up on the screen once it's uploaded. You'll want to click on I'm Done.
Like on the phone, select all the offers that you purchased on this receipt. On this receipt I bought a bag of Lays potato chips. Once you selected all the offers, scroll down and click submit.
You'll receive this message and like on the phone, it's just their way of letting you know that they've received your submission. I think it was less than 24 hours when I received an e-mail notification that I had earned the $0.25.
I love that Checkout 51 has made this for basically anyone who has a computer with internet access. Why would you not want to earn money for the grocery items you're already purchasing. Yes, I only earned a total of $0.50 for this trip, but that's $0.50 I didn't have before. I also like the fact that you don't have to use pay-pal or get a gift card in order to use the money that you've earned.
