Crockpot BBQ Chicken
Here's the items that you will need:
- 4-6 pieces of boneless chicken breast
- 1 bottle of BBQ sauce
- 1/4 C vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1/2 - 1 tsp garlic powder
You will first want to get a large mixing bowl to start making the sauce. Pour the whole bottle of BBQ sauce in the bowl.
Add the vinegar,
the red pepper flakes,
the brown sugar (I used light brown sugar because that's all that I had),
and then the garlic powder.
Mix all the ingredients all up.
Put your chicken in the crockpot. They're frozen in this picture. I like meals like this, don't even have to thaw the meat.
Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken.
Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 4 - 6 hours.
I made some mashed potatoes and stuffing. I also heated up some corn and green beans. Such an easy and fairly cheap meal to make. Try it out for yourself.
