DIY Halloween Bats
Want to make something cute for Halloween with your kids and not break the bank? This is the activity for you.
- googly eyes
- black paint
First, cut the lid off the carton and then cut the side that holds the eggs in half.
Then you'll want to cut the halves into halves. One bat is three egg holders so, one carton will make four bats.
Cut the two outside egg holders to make them look like bat wings on both the front and back.
I was going to have Michael help me with the painting, but he wasn't really interested in helping. I ended up putting about two coats on the outside and one on the inside. Once they were dried, I glued on googly eyes. Right now, I just have them placed throughout the house, but will eventually put string at the top of the bats to hang them.
There you have it. A cheap and easy Halloween decoration to make with the kids, if they want to.
What you'll need:
- empty egg carton- googly eyes
- black paint
Then you'll want to cut the halves into halves. One bat is three egg holders so, one carton will make four bats.
