Mint Serving Tray
Last year I saw this on Pinterest and bought the peppermints and spearmints, but never got around to doing it. So, while doing all my other baking for Thanksgiving I thought that I would do a trial run before making them for Christmas.
The blog I had followed (Tutto Bella Blog) suggested using Brach’s Starbright Mints (I used the Walmart brand). You'll need a cookie tray and some parchment or wax paper. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cut the parchment/wax paper to the size of the cookie tray. Arrange the mints in the design that you want. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes. Let cool before removing the paper, but be careful when you remove it because it will break.
I had baked them for 9 minutes and the center was not melted. So, I put them back in for another 2 minutes and the center was melted, but the outside melted too much. I'm planning on making this again for Christmas and will update on what worked. I'm not sure if the mints just weren't close enough or that I should have baked them for 10 minutes. Try it out and let me know what worked for you.
