Cheese Steaks
A few nights ago, Jon made cheese steaks for dinner. Many years ago, before I ever met Jon, he worked at Jerry's Subs and Pizza. Never knew for many years that he actually knew how to make a cheese steak. Every so often he'll make them and every time they are supper yummy! Here's how he made them.
We buy the 6 pack of Steak-umm and use the whole box for four cheese steaks.
He made two cheese steaks at a time. Put three slices in a hot pan.
Add your onions. I would have loved some green peppers, but didn't think about it until after the fact. You would add the green peppers at this point as well.
Add the cheese slice of your choice. We used provolone here. Let it melt, which will only take a few seconds.

Then with two spatulas, start pulling the meat apart. Make sure that the meat is fully cooked.
Add some salt and pepper for seasoning.
Since we're making two cheese steaks, split your meat and onions in half once the onions have been fully cooked.
Put in your hoagie buns and enjoy! I added mayonnaise and I think Jon added A1 sauce to his.
