Wings and a Slice
After going to the website to look for their logo, I've found that this place has closed. You can see why after reading Becki's review.
2 Forks = I would eat there if I was starving.
3 Forks = Not bad; someplace I would occasionally consider eating.
4 Forks = A good place to eat; I will put it into my rotation of places I dine frequently.
5 Forks = One of my all time favorites!
One caveat to note – I am allergic to fish and seafood, so if you are looking for those recommendations, you will have to consult someone else.
Because I have a daughter-in-law with Celiac and a really good friend who is Vegetarian, I will try to point out whether those options are present when I review a restaurant.

Lexington, KY 40505

The occasion was lunch during work with my husband and his firmware pals. This place is relatively new, and one would have to question the wisdom of being located right next door to a Pizza Hut. But these guys like pizza and wings, and the fast, economical lunch so…..we gave it a try.
The facilities are very austere – one can imagine that a large percentage of their business is take out. The menu offers both bone-in and boneless wings with a choice of 5-6 sauces and ranch or blue cheese dressing. There are 3 - 4 pizza choices including: cheese, pepperoni, sausage, or veggie. Pizza crust is a little on the thick side and I found the pizza crust to be more chewy, less browned and crispy. There are also a couple of burgers selections and an obligatory house salad. There are several combo deals available. We all chose the 5 wings and a slice special for $7.99. You got your choice of pizza and wing type.
I chose the Carolina Barbecue boneless wings and a slice of pepperoni. My companions either somewhat liked the wings or the pizza – nobody liked both. They were not quite as harsh in the criticism of the food, though. My philosophy on the whole dining experience is that if I am going to put these calories in my body, especially wings and pizza – it darn well better be good! The entire group thought there were 3-4 better places in Lexington to get pizza and/or wings. The one bright spot was that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The drink selection only includes iced tea in a gallon size for take-out, but the cashier went in the back a got me a glass anyway. She came to the table several times to refill our drinks and even gave us hot cookies for free as our dessert. The peanut butter cookie, by the way, was delicious. This is one of those places that offer food to fill you up or provide party fare on a budget – but it is not gourmet cuisine by any stretch of the imagination. Lunch for two was $20 including drinks. Delivery is also available.
Gluten Free Options – none advertised.
Vegetarian Options – veggie pizza is about your only option.
