Half way through the month and still under budget! - Meal Plans and Grocery Trip for Nov. 14th - 20th
So, we are back on track with getting our shopping at least started on Friday and finished early on Saturday. I forgot how much I love shopping on Friday. So much nicer and easier than what it has been the past couple of weekends.
Here are the meal plans that I came up with for this coming week:
This weekend we actually went to three stores because I'm making a side dish for Jon's family Thanksgiving dinner the weekend before Thanksgiving. This morning we went to Target to get some of the items I needed for the dish. Here's our list:

- 2 cans of pizza sauce $0.89 x 2 = $1.78
- 2 bags of shredded mozzarella cheese $2.48 x 2 = $4.96
- shredded cheddar cheese $2.48
- spaghetti sauce $1.95
- package of 4 boxes of tissues $4.47 (not in picture)
- gallon of distilled water $0.88 (not in picture)

- evaporated milk normally $0.99, got 5% off through the Target Cartwheel app which made it $0.94

- tortilla shells $1.49
- 2 bags of pepperoni $2.29 x 2 = $4.58
- pork chops $3.99
- gallon of whole milk $3.49
- OJ $2.49
- elbow macaroni noodles $0.99
