Several months before our trip to Walt Disney World, we started watching Disney movies that we needed to see to help with our trip. Michael had actually been watching some of these movies for years. We also brought a good majority of these movies with us since we were driving down (Driving to Walt Disney World).
Ever go on a vacation or even a family event and every picture is missing someone? You never would know that so and so was on that trip with you because there's no pictures to prove that they were there. Well, Disney has made sure that will not happen on your trip to Walt Disney World with Memory Maker. In my opinion, you don't want to miss out on this product.
While I was sitting down making my grocery list and figure out what meals we would be making for the week, I decided to look through a recipe book from my church back home. Jon and I decided on trying some new recipes for this week. Here's the list of meals that we are going to be having:
We didn't end up doing our normal shopping on Friday because we were preparing for a new refrigerator. Ended up having to send it back due to some damages in delivery. So, our old fridge is sitting in the middle of our kitchen and we are waiting to hear about when our new fridge will be fixed and redelivered. Since we didn't know when our fridge was being delivered, we tried to keep our old fridge as empty as possible. I didn't really make a meal plan for the week, but ended up eating what we had left in the house.
After you've decided the dates and where you're going to stay at for your Disney vacation, you need to decide if character meals are right for your family. Once you decide to do them, you need to figure out which one would be the best.
I'm trying to give us even more meals we rotate through, but it's really hard when you're married to a man who doesn't like vegetables and is somewhat reluctant on trying new things. While I was planning our dinners for the week, I was looking at my ever growing food boards on Pinterest. I also was asking
After you have picked out the days and where you're going to stay, the next big decision is how you're going to get there. We always fly, but this year we were trying to go as cheap and as stress free as possible.
Even though we brought our portable DVD player and tons of Disney movies with us, I wanted to make sure that when Michael was awake he was preoccupied. I ran across this idea on Pinterest on how to help with the long trip.
One of the first things you need to decide is where you are going to stay while on your Disney vacation. For this trip, my mom and I had decided that we wanted to stay on Disney property. All the other times we've been to Disney, we had stayed off property.
As some may know, we went to Walt Disney World at the beginning of December 2014. We thought that it would be the best year to go since it had been ten years since the both of us had been. Yep, Jon and I went to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon! Our original plan was to actually be at Disney on our anniversary and for Michael's 3rd birthday, but decided against it due to finances.
With the holidays behind us and a new year started, we are back on the wagon on meal planning and trying to stay in our weekly grocery budget. The way we got the weekly budget of $50 is that Jon gets paid every other week $100 for his oncall pay. For right now, we've decided that we would use that for
We did it, we finished the Christmas countdown on time! Just had to read more than one book each night. Here's the books for the final week of the countdown:
The third week of the countdown the whole family was sick so, we didn't get caught up like we had hoped. Here's the books that were read that week:
