Picking out a character meal for your Disney vacation
After you've decided the dates and where you're going to stay at for your Disney vacation, you need to decide if character meals are right for your family. Once you decide to do them, you need to figure out which one would be the best.
You definitely want to make reservations before your vacation to make sure you can get a table. The earliest you can make your reservation is 180 days before your vacation. Since we booked with a Pixie and Pirate Destinations Agent we didn't have to get on the phone early in the morning to make the reservations. Another bonus to going with an agent.
I loved the two character meals that my parents took us to when I was a kid and knew that Michael would love them as well. You're already going to have a meal so why not add in some characters?!? We weren't sure how Michael would handle all the characters so we thought that doing character meals would be the best. There are over a dozen different character dinning options at Walt Disney World. I knew that we had to go to Disney Junior Play 'n Dine and Chef Mickey's. We also went to The Crystal Palace because I wanted to go.
You don't need to have kids to go to the character meals. I saw several couples and even a group of college girls at the meals. I will post about all three separately later on. Have you been to character meals in the past? Which ones did you go to?
