One Dish Supper
I decided to try a recipe, One Dish Supper, that my mom used to make when I was a kid even though my husband does not care for beans and potatoes. It was rather easy to make and fairly cheap.
Here's what you will need:
1lb hamburger
4 - 5 potatoes (I only used 3 because they were rather large)
1 onion chopped
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of tomato soup
You'll want to preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
Peal and slice the potatoes. Then you'll want to boil the potato slices.
In a casserole dish, you'll want to start the layering while the potatoes are being boiled. The first layer is the hamburger. Then you'll want to season with salt and pepper.
The next layer is the chopped onion.
Then layer the kidney beans. I drained the juices that the kidney beans were in.
Once the potatoes were cooked, drain the water, and then layer them over the beans.
Pour and evenly disperse the tomato soup over the potatoes. Bake for an hour.
A very simple and cheap dinner that any meat and potato eating person would love.
