Back on the budget wagon - Meal Plans and Grocery Trip for February 27th thru March 5th
This past weekend was not the best. Friday I was sick the whole day and Jon was at his grandparents house working on something with his dad. The rest of the weekend, Jon was sick. Somehow we got the grocery shopping done, but I didn't get around to taking a picture of our items.
When planning the dinners for the week, I tried to think about what we already had and what would be quick and easy to make. Here's what we decided on:
Even though Jon wasn't feeling the best, he ended up doing the shopping while I stayed home with Michael and started the cleaning and disinfecting of the house. Here's the list he had to work with at Walmart:
The list for Wegmans was shorter than Walmart's. Here's what he had to get:
Jon spent $19.56 at Wegmans, making the grand total spent $39.16! We were under budget by $10.84. I love having a carry over in that amount. How's your weekly grocery/household budget going?
