Fun Easter Activity
I'm always looking for some fun and fairly cheap ways to decorate the house. What's better than decorating your house with the things that your little ones have made?
I found these plastic figures at Walmart the day that I was shopping for Michael's Easter basket. They were only $0.97 each! I'm not sure if you can find them at every Walmart because when I went to one of the other Walmarts, they did not have them. I'm sure that Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or AC Moore probably have something similar.
I ended up buying some paint because we didn't have any Springy looking paint. I bought orange, green, pink, blue, and violet. We already had several paint brushes so didn't need to buy any for this activity.
Michael was so excited about getting to paint his egg. Of course he picked orange, it's his favorite color.
My little painter. So crazy how a few years ago he wanted nothing to do with painting and hated getting it on his hands.
He got tired of painting the egg and decided that the bunny should be orange. I ended up painting one egg in my favorite color, violet, and the other egg in Jon's favorite color, green. For his Easter party at school, Michael had gotten several eggs that had stickers in them. I told him to decorate his egg with them instead of sticking them on his toys like he was trying to do. What fun activities have you done with the family this Easter?
