Our final full day of our Walt Disney World vacation from back in December was another full day at the Magic Kingdom. It was a very rainy, cold day, but we all still had a good time.
We were a little late on our grocery shopping for this week so, our dinner plans are a little short. Here's what we have planned:
School is starting soon or has already started for lots of kids. Michael has two weeks before he goes back for his second year of pre-k. Even though we get hand-me-downs from my nephew, Jasper, for Michael, I wanted to get a few new outfits to start school out right.
Yesterday we decided that we would travel through the hills and over the river into my beautiful home state of West Virginia to go to the Jefferson County Fair. You're probably wondering why we would do that when we just went to our county fair a few weeks ago, right?
Our second day at the Magic Kingdom, we had lunch at the
Be Our Guest Restaurant. When we went back in December last year, we got out table through a special fast pass system. Looks like they now have it that you call and reserve 180 days in advance.
The week before I never got around to making a meal plan or even to the grocery store to buy stuff. Because of that, we had a much larger budget to work with this week. It worked out because we needed to replenish our meat in our freezer. Here's what we've decided on for dinners this week:
Do you live in Northern Virginia? Did you know that there are waterparks in the area? I just found this out a few years ago, but never checked any of them out. Well, a few weeks ago we decided to try one out. This weekend Michael will be going to the waterpark in Rehoboth Beach with Gramie and PopPop and we wanted to make sure he was prepared to go without Mommy and Daddy.
I'm excited to say that we are going on a vacation this summer! We haven't had a summer family vacation in a while. Since our family vacation last year was in December and at Disney World, I thought that we would try for something a little more low key and cheaper. To Myrtle Beach, SC we go!
