Before heading home from our Walt Disney World vacation back in December, we had reservations for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. So after packing up the Sonata and checking out of the hotel, we headed over to Disney's Contemporary Resort via the monorail from the Magic Kingdom's parking lot.

Before we were seated at
Chef Mickey's, we were taken over to this little Chef Mickey to get our picture taken. I loved this and it worked with our Memory Maker (to learn more about Memory Maker, read my post
Memory Maker, is is worth it?) which was an added bonus. This should be something that the other character meals should do.
It had been several years since my mom and I had been at Chef Mickey's so it looked completely different. I will say that there seemed to be an even greater amount of food to choose from at this breakfast buffet.
Not only do you get to meet Mickey and his friends, you get to dance with them as well. A certain song came on and we were told to take our napkins and wave them in the air.
I was wearing my button that said that we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary so our waitress brought Jon and I this cupcake to celebrate with. So, wear your special buttons all the time - you never know when you'll get a perk!
We met Pluto.
Met Goofy.
We met Minnie. You can tell that Michael was finally getting used to the characters because he didn't want anyone else in the picture with him except for Minnie.
Met the head chef himself, Mickey.
Last, but not least, Donald Duck. This is a special picture because Michael was born on Donald's birthday.
I think this will be one of the character meals that we'll reserve for our next vacation to Walt Disney World. Maybe do an early breakfast here and then spend the rest of the day at the Magic Kingdom?!? What's your favorite character meal?
