A little over budget again this week - Meal Plan and Grocery Trip Breakdown for Oct. 19th - 25th

This week, fingers crossed, will be the week that we stick with the meal plan I came up with yesterday before going on my grocery shopping.  I did, however, have a carry over from last week and we're making a meal over again.  Here's what we have planned for dinners this week:

Look for a post next week about the Apple Pork Loin.  If the smells coming from my crock pot means anything, this will be more than likely a delicious meal!  Also look for a post about the apple pies that I'll be making later this week.  Here's the list that we needed at Walmart and Wegmans:

I had our normal $50 budget to work with.  The grand total spent was $52.52 which made us over by only $2.52.  Not too bad with everything that I bought.

    I love how you have this set up! Do you use coupons? I know that P&G normally has a coupon every month for pantene and bounty p.t.We are pretty brand loyal to those items. Looking forward to the pork loin recipe!

      Thanks, Jen! I was at one point showing the price comparison between the two stores, but that became too much. Sometimes I do use coupons, but lately I haven't. We don't get the newspaper so the only coupons we get our the ones that are mailed and if I remember to login to coupons.com.
