November 2017 Dinner Meal Plan
I now know that making a meal plan and sticking to it will definitely help you financially. We had fallen off the meal plan wagon for many months, but we are back at it and on a strict grocery budget. Here are the dinners that I planned for the month of November.
One thing that I know that has helped us so much, especially since my brother moved in, is having a central location where I put the dinner plans on. If you're needing something for your kitchen and like what I have made for us, you can learn more on my post DIY Dry Erase Calendar. My brother and Jon can look at the calendar before heading to work that day and know if and what will be made for dinner that night. Having it in a month calendar format also helps to make sure you don't repeat too much during the month. Below is the list of all the dinners planned. If I have the recipe on the blog, there will be a link to that post.
- It was spirit night for Michael's school. We try to participate in those as much as we can and most of the time they are at local resurants.
- sloppy joes - These were made from a can, but I do have a homemade recipe here on the blog, Kathy's Sloppy Joes.
- pizza
- chicken alfredo
- lasagna - This was a frozen lasagna, but I do have a homemade recipe here on the blog, Lillian's Lasagne.
- chicken alfredo - Can't remember what happened, but evidently we didn't have it when it was originally planned.
- cheese steaks
- tacos
- Bacon Ranch Chicken
- French Bread Pizza
- tortellini
- left overs
- meat loaf
- spaghetti
- chicken fajitas
- pot roast
- chipolte chicken
- Thanksgiving dinner with Jon's family.
- left overs
- Spanish Rice
- baked chicken
- Out to eat with Lucy's mom.
- Thanksgiving at Cracker Barrel
- Paula Deen's meat loaf
- Hamburger Helper
- left overs
- chicken
- sloppy joes
- pork chops
- Taco Bake
There you have it. Hope this helps give you an idea of what to plan for your next dinner. I try to make simple and fairly inexpensive meals because of being on a tight budget and I don't really like cooking all that much.
